Is your current financial situation…

What to Expect from Financial Coaching?
Financial Freedom, Guided by Grace
As a financial coach, I’m here to guide you with kindness and understanding as we work together to transform your financial challenges into a path toward financial freedom. Everyone’s situation is as unique as they are, and I’ll treat your journey with the individual care it deserves.
In our free initial consultation, we’ll take it easy and get to know each other. I want to hear about you—your dreams, your priorities, and what’s been holding you back. This is a judgment-free zone, where no question is too small, and every concern matters. We’ll figure out if we’re a great fit to team up on this journey. No pressure, just an open, compassionate space to talk and explore what’s possible.
If you feel ready to move forward, we’ll schedule our first session to dive deeper into your goals and situation. Together, we’ll craft a personalized game plan—tailored just for you, because your path is one-of-a-kind. Using proven strategies (think Ramsey’s tried-and-true methods), we’ll set up a budget, define clear goals, and work side by side to make it happen. My role is to encourage and empower you every step of the way, helping you get out of debt and onto a brighter financial path. Let’s do this together!

Your Questions About Financial Coaching, Answered

-
A financial coach is your personal guide to helping you turn financial challenges into financial freedom. We focus on YOU and your personal challenges. Unlike accountants who crunch tax numbers or financial advisors who pick stocks, a financial coach partners with you to create a money plan—and keeps you on track to follow it.
Think of them as your guide, helping you tackle anything from daily budgeting to big-picture goals like paying off debt or planning for the future. Over multiple sessions, you’ll work one-on-one to break through whatever’s holding you back. You won’t get quick fixes or magic solutions—just practical, lasting strategies tailored to you.
-
Here’s the beauty of it: there’s no “wrong” time. Struggling with debt that’s piling up? Fighting with your spouse over money? Or maybe you’ve got ambitious goals—like buying a home or paying for college—but no clue where to start? A financial coach meets you right where you are, no judgment, and helps you chart the path forward. Whether you’re in a financial mess or just ready to level up, coaching gives you the tools and clarity to meet your financial goals.
-
Ramsey Financial Master Coaches are independent and set their own rates after your free first consultation. Some offer a reduced price for a package of sessions, while others charge per session. Think of it as an investment in your financial future. You’ll get personalized guidance that pays off in spades, and it all starts with a no-cost consultation to see if it’s the right fit.
-
If money’s tight, that’s exactly why coaching can be a game-changer. It’s not about draining your wallet—it’s about building habits that put cash back in your pocket for good. Sure, you could try band-aid fixes like credit counseling or bankruptcy, but those don’t address the root of your money struggles (and bankruptcy leaves a mark that lingers). A coach is your mentor, not your lender, showing you how to ditch bad habits and take control. Ask yourself: can you afford not to get help?
-
No, and here’s why: we believe in walking the walk. And that means we’re all about getting you out of debt, not adding more. We don’t want to be another bill you juggle. Instead, we ask you to pay upfront in full (no credit cards allowed). It’s a clean start, and your coach will help you figure out how to make it work—after all, that’s what they’re there for. Your free consultation comes first, so you can test the waters without spending a dime.
-
No, Ramsey Preferred Coaches are independent business owners, not Ramsey employees. They’re trained by our team and follow Dave’s proven principles, but they run their own show. You’re getting a coach who’s vetted, skilled, and ready to focus on your goals.
-
Money in marriage is a team sport—success comes when you’re both in the game. Couples who tackle finances together often find it cuts stress and strengthens their bond (it’s one of our core beliefs for a reason). If your spouse is hesitant, your coach can help. Share your goals, start with the free consultation together, and let them see the value firsthand. It’s not about forcing it—it’s about building a united front.
-
Relax. Your coach will lead the way. For your free consultation, just come ready to chat about your situation: What do you want to achieve? What’s stressing you out? Bring an open mind and maybe a few notes on your goals or struggles. From there, your coach will guide you —no prep work required, just a willingness to dive in.
