Dr. Lori Peters is a seasoned professor, speaker, executive, and lifelong learner. She has taught at George Washington University in Washington, D. C., and several universities in the Philadelphia area. She has spoken domestically and internationally at various women’s and leadership conferences. Dr. Peters has 30 years of experience leading and developing private and non-profit organizations. She passionately advocates in political spheres. She owns a business and development firm, SOARing International, LLC, working as a consultant, coach, mentor and facilitator.

For over 18 years, Lori has done extensive international development work, primarily in Ghana, West Africa. She is passionate about strategic and organizational leadership, empowering individuals, and advocating for equality, inclusion, and justice for the disadvantaged.

Dr. Peters’ doctorate is in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Strategic Foresight. She has Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology, Non-Profit Management, and Public Management, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management. Lori is a published inspirational and business writer residing in suburban Philadelphia, PA. She loves the beach, mountains, and sports (GO BIRDS). She enjoys reading and spending time with her son, daughter, and two golden retrievers.
